Camera & charger; Mobile phone & charger; First aid kit; Maps;
Piece of plastic (for snow chain fitting); Plastic tub to transport wet gear;
Two way radios may be useful when you get separated.

Sunglasses; Toiletries; Goggles; Sunscreen; Lip Balm; Thermal Top; Appropriate underwear; Medications; Snow helmet; Warm jacket; Rain & wind proof pants & jacket; Waterproof & insulated walking boots; Socks (thin & non ribbed); Casual clothes & shoes; Warm hat, headband, neck warmer or scarf; Personal items;
Drink Bottles - take plenty of water, you will dehydrate quickly in the dry mountain air.

Car preparation

General safety check or service; Ensure tyres are not excessively worn;
Make sure oil and coolant/antifreeze levels are correct;
Fill windscreen washer bottle with water & 1/4 methylated spirits;
Diesel vehicles will require alpine fuel in the tank;
Roof racks for boards & skis

Other things to do before leaving for your snow holiday

Confirm booking details;
If you are planning to have lessons prebook for a morning session;
Arrange for your mail to be picked up while you are away;
Tell your neighbours and friends where you are going and when you plan to return.
